The property was purchased by 104 Court LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Edgewater Valley Forge Fund III LP, an affiliate of Edgewater Group LLC.
The Inn is located in Uptown Greenwood, South Carolina. The original buildings of the Inn date back to 1905 and originally consisted of a three-story building with an adjoining one-story structure. The buildings went vacant in the 1970s and began to deteriorate. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, there was a major push to revitalize Greenwood, and one of the plans called for a new hotel. In 1985, two local developers united the buildings and opened a hotel. After morphing into various forms of accommodations and closing for several years subsequently, the Inn was renovated and reopened in October 2015. Remaining faithful to the original architecture and historical integrity, the Inn has been carefully renovated to preserve its classic style and offer guests the ultimate comfort.
Centrally located in the heart of Uptown Greenwood, the Inn is in close proximity to various recognized neighbors including but not limited to Lander University, Piedmont Technical College, Self-Regional Hospital, Clemson University Center for Human Genetics and others.
